Prototype development · system integration
As of 25 October 2026Device and electronics designs and firmware code have been prepared. We are integrating the system and preparing for the next phase: physical prototype bring-up and measurements.
A compact format, convenient sample access and cooling designed around the cycle. Explore the direction of CYCLE development.
We are designing the CYCLE chamber for two eight-position sample strips. Our focus is on thermal conditions, convenient operation and data the team can revisit after a run. The platform is intended for laboratories developing and evaluating research procedures, including PCR protocols.

Recorded temperatures, stages and events help teams review successive runs.
We are developing CYCLE around laboratory needs: cycle conditions, convenient operation and access to experiment data.
We are developing temperature and stage timing controls alongside safeguards to support comparable conditions across successive research batches.
The lightweight block needs less heat to change its temperature. Combined with directed airflow, it is designed to ease transitions between cycle stages and reduce the time spent changing temperature.
Telemetry and event logs let teams review cycle stages, temperatures and stops. They support run analysis and comparison across successive experiments.

Software and cycle execution tested on a virtual bench. These results describe the model, not device measurements.
Prototype bring-up, calibration and safety verification. Measurement of temperature, run duration and energy per cycle.
Assessing process repeatability and suitability for a selected research use case.
Thermal performance, energy consumption and process repeatability will be assessed through physical prototype measurements. Current results come from a virtual bench. PCR validation and conformity assessment remain ahead.
Concrete steps and a clear view of our work. Selected updates from the project.
Integration tests cover communication between the application and firmware, alongside cycle-stage recording. This supports the development of tools for reviewing and comparing runs. Current tests use a virtual bench.
The next phase covers electronics bring-up, temperature calibration and safety verification. We welcome conversations about collaboration on this work.
The D02 design specifies an enclosure of approximately 18 × 18 cm and a chamber for two sample strips. We are developing this format around compact workstation organisation and convenient preparation of successive research batches.
